This performance exceeded the company’s milestone target of 0.175 kg CO₂e/t, reflecting a steady improvement in energy efficiency across the bakery’s operations.
This reduction is attributed to gradual improvements made throughout the facility, which have enhanced energy performance without compromising output. In recognition of these changes, Coghlan’s updated its emissions target to reflect a more accurate, output-normalised metric, a move that supports more meaningful year-on-year comparisons and better aligns with production realities.
