Origin Green is Ireland's pioneering food and drink sustainability programme, operating on a national scale, uniting government, the private sector and the full supply chain from farmers to food producers and right through to the foodservice and retail sectors. The programme is the worlds only national food and drink sustainability programme, and enables the industry to set and achieve measurable sustainability targets that respect the environment and serve local communities more effectively.

Bio-Marine Ingredients Ireland

Bio-marine Ingredients Ireland (BII) is a marine bio-tech company located in County Monaghan. BII is a joint venture between Irish fishing vessel owners and Norwegian partners who are experts in marine ingredients. BII produce the highest quality marine ingredients utilising the vast quantities of blue whiting which are located proximate to the Irish coast. The main shareholders in BII are fishermen who are the key holders of these quotas which constitute the bulk of the raw materials being supplied to the BII facility. The combination of an integrated supply chain and state-of-the-art production facilities means BII is a leader in the supply of marine-based proteins, lipids and calcium to the international marketplace.

Cully & Sully

Cully & Sully are purveyors of fresh soups and pies and hot pots. They have recently launched a new range of broths, made with Irish bone broth and locally sourced ingredients. The company was founded in 2004 by two friends, Cullen Allen 'Cully' and Colum O'Sullivan 'Sully', both from foodie families in East Cork. Cully & Sully is the tastiest, most trusted and loved fresh soup and meal brand in Ireland. They are based in Cork and employs over 12 people directly in NPD, sales, marketing & finance.Cully & Sully provide good, honest, nourishing food, just like our Grandmothers made, which has been produced with ingredients sourced responsibly, ethically and locally when seasonality allows.At Cully & Sully what matters most are their customers, their team, the community and the environment which provides the best raw materials for their products.Origin Green Certification has ensured Cully & Sully continue to pay close attention to sustainability and sourcing within their business.

O'Neills Dry Cure Bacon Co

O'Neills Dry Cure Bacon Company was established in 2005 with a view to supplying premium quality bacon to the retail and food service markets. O'Neills Dry Cure Bacon is award winning bacon cured by hand using a traditional family recipe with natural sea salt. With no added water or phosphates the proportion of meat per kilo of product is significantly higher than the wet cure alternatives on the market.

West Coast Crab Sales Ltd

Established in 2016 by brothers Jonathan and Patrick O'Donnell, West Coast Crab Sales Ltd is an Irish shellfish supplier specialising in Brown Crab and European Lobster to both domestic and international markets. Over the past 25 years their export markets have included Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. In recent years exports have grown to include Asian countries.

Meade Farm Group

From their family farm in Lobinstown, County Meath, Meade Potato Company have now been growing, packing and distributing premium quality potatoes, fruit, vegetables, salads and organics over the past five decades.Philip Meade Sr. first began selling potatoes in the towns around Meath and Louth in 1977 and soon extended to Irish vegetables, and later, to Irish and other fruit. They were the first company to export Irish potatoes abroad by the boatload, and have since initiated shipments abroad of Irish product whenever export market conditions were suitable.Nestled in the drumlins of the Boyne Valley, the Meade farm and food production facility bears little resemblance to their original family farm. It has grown from a single packing store to include 150,000 sq. feet of packing facilities housing numerous state of the art production lines, with over 500,000sq. ft of loading and distribution space, all of which serve to make the journey from farm to fork as efficient as possible. The next generation of Meades now lead a team of over 240 people.

Established in Co. Waterford in 1980, Dawn Meats is a family-owned company marketing quality beef and lamb products to customers in over 50 countries. Dawn Meats is the largest processor of lamb in Europe and the leading processor of beef in the UK and Ireland. With annual revenues exceeding €2 billion, the company employs approximately 8,000 people at 29 locations in Ireland, the UK, Continental Europe and Asia, processing one million cattle and three million sheep annually. Sustainability has been central to Dawn Meats' business strategy for over 20 years, and actions are implemented through the company's dedicated, cross-functional sustainability team.
