McCormack Family Farms

A second-generation farming enterprise based in Co. Meath, McCormack Family Farms has been growing, packing and distributing fresh produce for nearly 40 years. Eddie McCormack started selling fresh produce on behalf of Warrenstown Agricultural Collage at the historic Dublin Fruit Market in Smithfield before he decided to grow his own. It all started in 1984 on a small field at the back of Eddie's house in Kiltale, a small rural community in Co. Meath. That year, Eddie became the very first commercial grower of iceberg lettuce and everything he did from then onwards was with one idea in mind: to grow locally what traditionally had been imported. Today, McCormack Family Farms are the largest grower of baby salad leaves in Ireland and also specialise in fresh cut herbs, microgreens and edible flowers to retail, foodservice, and manufacturing channels.
