In 2024, Filligans maintained its strong commitment to sustainable packaging, achieving a 100% usage rate for the second consecutive year. This performance met the company’s milestone target and reflected a continued focus on reducing environmental impact through considered packaging choices.

Having reached its primary target, Filligans shifted its attention to secondary packaging, identifying further opportunities to reduce waste. One of the key changes was the replacement of plastic tape with recycled paper tape, a simple yet effective switch that aligned with the company’s low-impact ethos.

The company also replaced plastic document holders with paper-based alternatives, eliminating another source of single-use plastic from its operations. These changes were implemented across the business, reinforcing Filligans’ commitment to embedding sustainability into every layer of its packaging process.

In addition, Filligans took steps to reduce paper waste by resizing its product labels. This adjustment not only cut down on material use but also demonstrated the company’s attention to detail and willingness to refine even the smallest aspects of its packaging.
